First Fridays
Art Walk
Every Month
On the first Friday of every month, Old Town Winchester plays host to artists with special galleries, musicians playing in restaurants and cafes, and late hours for many of the unique shops. Every month is something a little different.
Chocolate Escape
February 8
Escape to Old Town Winchester for Valentine’s shopping specials and indulgent chocolate morsels at the 8th Annual Chocolate Escape from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
St. Paddy's Celtic Fest

Old Town Winchester celebrates the community’s Irish and Scottish heritage with the 5th annual St. Paddy’s Celtic Festival in Old Town Winchester.
Easter Weekend
Start the camping season off right and visit Candy Hill for Easter Weekend. Brush off the camping equipment to get prepared for the rest of the season!
Bloomin' Wine & Fine Arts Festival

The Apple Blossom festivities start with a Wine and Fine Arts Festival featuring area vineyards, food exhibitors, local artisans, and live musical entertainment featured on three stages to complete the atmosphere.

Join the fun and pageantry of the 93rd Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in historic Winchester. "Forever Apple Blossom" This long-standing tradition features the world's largest fire fighters' parade; an entertaining Grand Feature parade through scenic downtown Winchester; Weekend in the Park, featuring a wide variety of crafters; a bluegrass concert, a carnival and an outstanding fireworks display!   North-South Skirmish Association Spring Nationals Shoot

34th Annual Virginia Wine & Crafts Festival

Newtown Heritage Festival

This free family friendly festival that celebrates Stephens City, VA's heritage. Includes a craft show, demonstrating artisans, a parade and fireworks on Saturday, live music, children’s events, wagon rides, museum tours and more.

Shenandoah Valley Steam & Gas Engine Show

This show features restored farm tractors, farm equipment, steam-powered belt-driven saw mill, belt-driven thrashing machine and hay baler, a "parade of tractors" and a tractor pull featuring only vintage farm tractors. On Saturday, listen to some outstanding bluegrass music.
Frederick County Fair

Frederick County Fair offers fun for the entire family! Enjoy performances by country music recording artists and also live bluegrass music. See smash-up action at the demolition derby! There's also beauty pageants, lawnmower racing, carnival, livestock shows, petting zoo and much more!

Bicycle Event Series - Farm to Fork Fondo
